| Interoperable supply chains, in which major government agencies share manufacturing capacity, can address the production, risk, and cost issues that result from significant swings in demand. This presentation will summarize the progress on the Department of Defense (DoD)/NASA Interoperable Supply Chain Demonstration (ISCD) pilot project, preliminary findings, and possible next steps. The demonstration project is focused on identifying barriers such as specifications, manufacturing capabilities, business practices, and policies. |
