| Today’s United States Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) drawing of record is a two-dimensional (2-D) drawing, with a three-dimensional (3-D) model provided for reference. This presentation will summarize the progress on the 3-D “Official” Engineering Support Activity (ESA) Data Environment project as part of enabling the long-term OSD ManTech Vision for requisite technologies such as NCM. The pilot project focuses on understanding the technology issues and business practices required to adopt 3-D models for sourcing. |
