| Identifying the Full Spectrum of Risks in Global Supply Chains |
| The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter’s Global Delivery System (GDS) integrates the supply chain to enable production and sustainment at globally distributed sites. To better understand how to mitigate the impact of associated financial risks, Lockheed Martin is conducting collaborative research with Georgia Tech’s Tennenbaum Institute to identify life-cycle risks and relate those risks to costs. Once captured, this knowledge will be extended into strategies, technologies, processes, and skills. This presentation summarizes the program’s challenges and the risk analysis approach. |
