| To fulfill its promise, NCM must provide seamless flow of the best possible technical data, in a collaborative environment characterized by bi-directional flow. Ultimately, the technical data package (TDP) becomes the vehicle for delivering necessary requirements throughout the supply chain, enabling fulfillment of the NCM promise. This presentation focuses on two important process enablers for application of TDPs and their connection to the NCM vision: National Aerospace Standard 3500; and DISCUS, the most widely used tool for computer-aided generation and flow TDPs. |
