Mr. Paul Gosling is the vice president of global procurement and supply chain defense and materials management at Oshkosh Corporation. During his keynote presentation at the 2009 NCM Forum, Gosling will present how his organization is leveraging a public-private consortium of major OEMs and manufacturing extension partnerships to help improve the overall performance of the Oshkosh Defense supply base. In his present role, Gosling is responsible for annual procurement of defense components and materials, strategic supplier relationship management, the implementation of lean throughout the defense purchasing organization and purchasing support of new product development and acquisition. Gosling joined Oshkosh Corporation’s purchasing department in 1998 where he held positions of increasing responsibility that include buyer, senior buyer, commodity team manager, purchasing manager, director corporate and strategic purchasing and vice president of purchasing. He was assigned to his most recent role in April 2009. Gosling is a retired U.S. Army Captain and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing management from the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
